Awaken to the Wisdom of Plants

Each session is a unique adventure into the world of plant magic. With guidance and imagination, children will open their hearts and minds to the lessons plants offer, unlocking a deeper connection to nature and their own inner wisdom.

• Magical Movement & Grounding: I begin by guiding the children through gentle movements that connect them to their bodies, helping them tune into the energy of the plants. In these sacred moments, they step into the role of the plant itself, feeling the stillness of a tree or the swaying grace of a wildflower.
• Plant Exploration: In our herb garden, woodlands, fields, and hedgerows, we meet the plants where they grow, inviting children to tune into their energy. Each plant has its own unique personality, and we allow space to feel and intuitively understand its gifts.
• Alchemical Creativity: Children craft potions, perfumes, and magical blends using plants, drawing from their intuitive senses and the stories they are unfolding. Each creation is a physical manifestation of the plant’s energy, a healing potion of love, courage, or wisdom.
• Intuitive Storytelling & Imagination: With the plants as our guides, we step into a magical, ever-changing world of plant-inspired storytelling. Every child is invited to contribute to the story, offering a small chapter or throwing in ideas as they arise , offering their own magical insight and creativity. The stories are fluid and improvisational, giving children the freedom to express themselves authentically.

• Awaken Intuition & Inner Wisdom: Through deep connection with plants, children learn to trust their own instincts and intuitions. The plants teach them how to listen to their bodies and the world around them, unlocking an innate wisdom that’s always been there.

• Magical Confidence & Creative Expression: As we create stories, potions, and share our thoughts, children gain confidence in their creativity and self-expression. There is no right or wrong, only the freedom to explore, imagine, and be themselves.

• Healing through Nature’s Magic: The plants offer their healing gifts in a way that is unique to each child. Whether it’s the calming energy of lavender or the grounding power of oak, each plant brings its own magic to help children heal, grow, and understand themselves better.

• A Journey into Emotional Alchemy: Plants hold energy that mirrors the emotions children might experience. Through intuitive exploration, children learn how to navigate their emotions, transform them, and find healing in the process. The plants guide them as wise teachers, showing them how to connect with and express their inner worlds.

Fortnightly, nature-led storytelling days on Dartmoor

These immersive storytelling days take place fortnightly on Thursdays, 10:30am–3:30pm, on a beautiful farm on Dartmoor, close to Moretonhampstead.

Children are held in small, nurturing groups where plants, stories, movement, and creative play weave together through the seasons.

Group sizes & cost

• Maximum 8 children per session

• £30 per child per day

• payment options, either one off anual payment or monthly standing order 

(Includes all materials, potions, balms, and plant-based creations)

You may either:

• Pay the full amount upfront = £480

• Set up a monthly standing order of £60 per month for 8 months (March–October)

June – October (9 sessions). Total programme cost = £270 @ £30 per session 

You may either:

• Pay the full amount upfront = £270

• Set up a monthly standing order of £54 per month for 5 months (June–October)

This helps keep the groups steady and allows the stories and relationships to deepen over time.

Throughout the course, children are introduced to the alchemy of the copper still, learning how plants are transformed into hydrosols, oils, and balms.This hands-on experience offers a gentle introduction to traditional distillation and deepens children’s connection to the healing qualities of plants.

 This is an exciting step forward. In the future, I will be applying for funding with the hope of offering concessionary places, discounted sessions, and a sliding scale so that this work can become more accessible to families.

I grew up surrounded by nature in a small village in Scotland, amongst the rivers and woods and the freedom to be feral and wild .

After 22 years of traveling, I finally settled in Devon 7years ago , where I found my community and a place to ground my roots. For the past four years, I’ve studied Intuitive Herbalism at The School of Intuitive Herbalism in Stroud, under the guidance of Nathaniel Hughes. My approach to herbalism is deeply rooted in intuition, and I believe plants speak to us in a language beyond words, through their energy, stories, and medicine.

Through the sacred art of plant storytelling, I guide children to remember their connection to nature and unlock the magic within themselves. As I continue to deepen my knowledge and practice, I am honored to share this intuitive journey with the children I work with.
